Money Raised to Date:
December 2007 – our first Cub – Ella Smith who battled her cancerous brain tumor… and WON – we fundraised and donated $5400 to her family!
December 2008 – through more skates we supported BC Children’s Hospital in honor of Rylan Nakatsu $1000… a Duncan boy who is winning his race against a childhood leukemia
April 2009 – We supported our 3rd Cub through Quarters for Cubs with the Sole Sisters walk/run clinic – Charlotte $2500! Charlotte our amazing little ’sister’ cub with many challenges brought each Sole Sisters an amazing strength!
June 7, 2009 – Childrun Vancouver – in support of BC Children’s Hospital – it’s on there already – $5345
October 11, 2009 - RVM – TEAM JACK ran in support of pediatric oncology at VGH and raised $5575
December 22, 2009 – Friends and family hockey game – supporting kids with cancer – VGH pediatric oncology services – $550
December 26th, 2009 – the Westhavers annual Boxing Day skate – in support of VGH pediatric oncology – $450
April 2010 – Two Cubs were present $1000 each through our second year of Quarters for Cubs… Angadh and Ashton… two inspiring little boys who kept us moving in the right direction!
1st Annual KidsRun Victoria on May 30th leading up to the 25th annual Childrun Vancouver with ALL Funds in support of BC Children’s Hospital pediatric oncology services – $20,181!
